Summer Vacation 2009 - Part 3 of 3

The last stop on our Summer trip we meet up with Zach and Cathy. When we got up there we gave Larry his fathers day gift - a brand new driver (that is very forgiving). We had a blast golfing a couple of times up in the twin cities Jonathan was able to join us one of the days. Zach had a couple of beautiful days to show off his motorcycle riding skills. We also got together with Rodney and went to Como Zoo in St. Paul. We saw Lions and Tigers and Bears oh my. What would a trip up to the twin cities be without stopping at Fudruckers and Cheescake Factory. Yum!

For the second part of the trip we stopped up at Jon and Mary's new apartment in the Twin Cities. That is when we finally got to meet Ethan our Nephew. He is adorable! When met him he was one month old that day. We had a lot of fun playing wii, watching the cubs and most importantly playing pinochle! We thought while we were up there that we might do some furniture shopping for our new place back home, but Megan didn't think that those chairs would fit.

Summer Vacation 2009 - Part 1 of 3

The first part of our summer trip made a stop at Hidden Acres Christian Center. We were able to celebrate Fathers Day with Dad, Mom, and Maggie. We grilled rib-eye steaks and had a blast swimming in the pool. Megan made a lot of friends unfortunately not very many of the human type (she has a heart for animals). It was fun seeing family and seeing how camp has changed over the years. Oh yes we played pinochle!
